More Ways to Get Here
June 7, 2007 San Pedro Sula, Honduras It's becoming easier than ever to visit Honduras: This summer, two airlines are opening new routes to help you get there. Aeromexico begins service between Mexico City and San Pedro Sula, Honduras, on June 5, flying three times a week. Even better for many U.S. travelers, Spirit Airlines is scheduled to begin nonstop flights between Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and San Pedro Sula on July 20. The airline has domestic flights to Fort Lauderdale from a number of U.S. cities, including Boston, New York, Chicago, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles that will allow you to connect conveniently with the new Honduras flight. Spirit Airlines says it will offer flights three times a week each way, then move to daily service in mid-November. For now, though, flights from Ft. Lauderdale to San Pedro Sula will leave on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Return flights to the U.S. will be on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. If you've been thinking of checking out Honduras, now may be the time to finally book that flight. Best Regards, Suzan Haskins Editor, Latin America Insider For International Living/ Honduras P.S.
