| Meet the International Living Events Team | Grant Perry -- Events Director
Grant will always call New Zealand home but currently works from International Living's Head Office in Waterford, Ireland organizing IL's range of worldwide events. After graduating from Waikato University with a Bachelor of Management Studies (majoring in International Marketing) he spent two years in London -- the start of his big "O.E" (Overseas Experience). Working in London's financial sector funded journeys to Europe, the U.S and Asia and he hasn't lost his thirst for travel since. In addition to travel in Central and South America, Grant has driven coast to coast across the U.S three times, lived in North Carolina, Los Angeles and Baltimore and in 2006 seized the opportunity to work from IL's Panama office for the year. When not playing tag rugby he is most at home in the surf. | Elaine Finnegan -- Events Director A graduate of Trinity College Dublin, Elaine has always had a desire to travel and spent a year living in Australia prior to joining the International Living team. This wanderlust serves her well in her current position, She has been involved in organizing, marketing and running International Living' s numerous events for the past two years. With twenty odd events a year, Elaine is kept busy traveling around the International Living world and has run events in France, Italy, the U.S., Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Argentina and Thailand. | 
Eric Stapp -- Events Coordinator Eric Stapp hails from the great Midwest. He attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, where he earned a degree in English and Sociology. After graduating, Eric lived in Denver, CO for three years and then spent some time in sunny Scottsdale, AZ. Eric is currently enjoying life in Panama, where he is working for IL as an Events Coordinator. He is currently pursuing his never-ending obsession of living the "Good Life."
| Stephanie Valencia -- Events Coordinator Stephanie was born and raised in Panama City, Panama. She received her Degree in Marketing and Advertising and is now working towards her MBA. Through her first job in a boutique hotel she discovered her calling in the Tourism industry. After two years at the front desk she was promoted to the events coordination team - an area she already knew she loved from organizing her distinctively themed birthday parties each year. Now working with International Living as an Events Coordinator, she is very enthusiastic to find new ways to make IL conferences a memorable time for the attendees.
| Nitzia Ayala -- Events Coordinator Nitzia is originally from Panama City, Panama and received her degree in Administration of Tourism Business and an MBA with an emphasis on Marketing. She worked as an Administrative Assistant in a shipping company before moving to Sales & Marketing for Japanese Company where she was responsible for developing the marketing and sales coordination within Latin America. Nitzia is now very excited to be helping International Living readers plan their new life abroad in her role as Events Coordinator. | Patricia Goltry -- Events Customer Service Liaison Patricia Goltry has always been drawn to the world of travel. Born in Italy, she spent her childhood in the Bahamas before moving to Boston. There she gained her degree in Travel and Tourism and a Marketing Degree from Northeastern University. She worked for US Airways for 3 years before joining Agora in 2003. In her current role as Events Customer Service Liaison she is the usual first point of contact with readers interested in attending IL events - helping them with their plans to make that first major step to their new life overseas.
| Brigid Darragh -- Events Customer Service Liaison Brigid grew up in a small farming town in Connecticut. After earning a degree in English and Spanish Language & Literature from Loyola College in Maryland, she moved to Bangkok, Thailand, to teach English as a second language at Assumption University. She has spent time traveling Southeast Asia, Mexico, and a semester living in Granada, Spain, where she studied at la Universidad de Granada. Brigid is excited to be working for International Living in Baltimore, encouraging people to discover life outside of the United States, as she has had the fortune of doing in the past few years. | Martina Latini -- Events Promotion Manager Martina was born in Torino, Italy, where she graduated in Marketing and Languages. Living abroad has always been her dream, that she finally fulfilled in 2005, when she found a new home in Ireland, after having worked for a tour operator in France and Morocco. As an Events Promotion Manager, Martina coordinates the communication with the readers, deals with all the administrative aspects and is responsible for the events website and forum. |
