IL Affiliate Program FAQs What is your affiliate program? Our affiliate program allows other websites to get paid by referring new customers to our site. We provide affiliates with customized links for their site. Every time someone from an affiliate site buys a subscription to International Living magazine, the affiliate receives the commission on the sale.
How do I get started? Read the Terms of Service, fill out the affiliate sign up form, and wait while we qualify your site. After your site is approved, we will send you an email describing how to get your links and get started. How much does it cost to join the affiliate program? It is free to join. What is my commission on a sale? Commission is $30 for each subscription to International Living that is generated from your site. The total price of the subscription is $49, so you earn more than half of the revenue from the purchase. How do I keep track of how many people buy products from my site? Each month we will send you a report showing you how many subscriptions have been sold through your site as well as how much affiliate revenue you have earned. How often do I get paid? The payment schedule is once a month. During the first week of the month we send out commission checks to all affiliates. Will I get a check every month? The minimum commission payout amount is $100. When you earn anything over $100 we will send you a check during the first week of the month. If you do not make more than $100 in a month, your total will role over to the next month until it reaches $100. What if a magazine buyer cancels the subscription?International Living will hold back 20 percent of your revenue until the end of the year to cover the buyers who purchase a subscription through your site but then end up canceling their subscription. At the end of the year, you will receive a larger check that will include your monthly affiliate revenue check plus the revenue that we held back throughout the year. How do I access my custom links? You will receive an email that will include the html that you are to include on your website. You can then insert that html into your website. We will provide guidance on where and how to insert the html. |
